would you rather?

the girls at camp are obsessed with this game. its actually kinda annoying. But yeah, thats besides the point. StarFM had this question tonight. Would you rather have 1 wish today or 3 wishes 10 years from now? I said one wish today and I'd wish for more wishes. But Allison claims that somewhere in the unwritten rule book of wishing it clearly states "It is decreed that no one can use a wish to acquire more wishes." Ok, she didn't say it like that but I think it sounds way better worded that way. Anywho, I supposedly can't use my wish to get more wishes, but its my wish so thats what I'm gonna do. Yes I'm greedy, no I don't care. So my question to you is this, Which would you rather? 1 wish today or 3 wishes 10 years from now? oh, and include the why.

Why wish for more wishes when you could just wish for everything you've ever wished for to come true? Does that make sense?

Ok I've decided on something better. Actually I'd just change my previous wording a bit. I'd wish for all my past, present, and future wishes to come true. Unless of course there's a rule in the rule book of wishing that prohibits this.

thats pretty smart brad. I don't know if you could do that or not. We'd have to ask Allison

hmm...maybe 3 in 10 years when money's tight etc...but i dunno, i'd like to be lazy and wish now perhaps...i am way too tired to be typing this.

Fine I'll just take the 1 wish right now and wish for the best! The key is to wish for something extremely open ended. I'd take the one wish now because you have to jump on every possible positive oppurtunity you can get.

but thats too open ended. if you wish for the best, the best what? best haircut? best mark on a test? best friend? best party ever? best holiday? best life? and by who's standards?
In the end you could end up with something horrible, for instance: for you to have the best life, then maybe something bad has to happen in everyone else's life to make your's better. do you really want that?

Fine I'll wish for a long and prosperous life. Is that still to broad?
